Fair cuts. Clean competition.
The full local game is available at every age. Public rankings are optional, available only to adult profiles age 18 or older, and governed by these rules.
The game
Core Cutter is provided as an arcade entertainment game for a mixed, all-ages audience. Features may evolve, be corrected, or be discontinued. Local play does not require joining the leaderboard.
Age check and parent controls
Enter the requested month, day, and year accurately at the neutral age screen. Core Cutter uses that entry only on the device to choose one local category—Junior (0–8), Child (9–12), Teen (13–17), or Adult (18 or older)—immediately discards the birth date, and never transmits the birth date or category. Do not falsify age information to reach an older-audience feature.
Junior, Child, and Teen profiles are local-only. A parent or guardian creates a device-local four-digit PIN, and that PIN is required for any profile change. The app stores only a salted PBKDF2-SHA256 verifier, not the raw PIN. Under-18 profiles cannot open public rankings, choose a public Name, create a leaderboard identity, or upload ranked gameplay. Junior Mode simplifies gameplay and uses no background music; every other profile uses the shipped family-safe music catalog. See the Family Safety Guide.
Global leaderboard
Leaderboard participation is optional and limited to adult profiles age 18 or older. Before rankings open, the app shows an online-safety reminder. An adult player may then choose a public Name, and the service verifies submitted runs by replaying accepted actions. Selecting Save Name is affirmative acceptance of these Terms and player-name rules, version 2026-08-20. Existing eligible adult participants must select Save Name again to accept this revision before submitting another ranked run. If you do not agree, do not save a name; all local and offline play remains available. Rankings are casual and offer no prize or guaranteed standing.
Public player-name rules
Choose a player name rather than a legal name. Do not include an age, school, location, email address, phone number, home address, account credential, or other sensitive personal information.
Names must not contain or promote obscene or sexually explicit material; hate or discrimination; threats, harassment, bullying, or self-harm; child exploitation; illegal activity; deception, scams, or spam; infringement; impersonation of another person, the developer, support, or a moderator; or attempts to evade filters and enforcement. Reserved service and staff names may not be used.
Names are limited to the characters and length shown in the app and must pass automated checks. Passing a filter does not make a name acceptable under these rules.
Fair play
Do not automate play, alter the app or traffic to fabricate results, exploit vulnerabilities, overload the service, evade limits, misuse reports, impersonate another player, or interfere with others. Invalid scores may be rejected, and abusive identities may be masked, renamed, removed, or suspended.
Reporting, hiding, and moderation
Use Report name in the leaderboard to send a potentially objectionable name to the developer for review. Use Hide player to remove that player’s rows from your device immediately. Submit reports honestly and do not coordinate false reports.
The developer reviews reports and may mask, rename, suspend, or remove content or players when appropriate. Automated filters and report thresholds support—but do not replace—ongoing human review. A report does not guarantee a particular result. For an urgent safety concern or a reporting problem, email garrykrey@gmail.com.
Acceptable use
Do not use Core Cutter for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive activity. Report a security concern privately to garrykrey@gmail.com.
Availability and responsibility
The game and leaderboard are provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for indirect losses caused by interruption, loss of local data, device incompatibility, or ranking changes.
Termination and contact
You may stop using the game at any time and may delete leaderboard data through the available controls. Access may be limited for abuse or policy violations. Questions or moderation appeals may be sent to garrykrey@gmail.com.
